The Center for Traumatic Stress at the Salem, Virginia Medical Center provides confidential, comprehensive treatment for the aftereffects of trauma.  Eligibility does not depend on whether the veterans is service-connected. 

 

Through treatment, education outreach and research, the Center is committed to promoting the health and well-being of our veterans.  They can help veterans and family members adjust to life following deployment, cope with symptoms following trauma, and lead healthier, more satisfying lives.  The Center is located in building 11, first floor, room 116. at the Salem VA Medical Center.  You can contact them at (540) 982-2462 ext 2934 or write to:
