The following sad news was received from Cigarman HF #65 on April 12, 2010:

 

68-year old Paul Robinson and his wife Nancy were boating about five miles from the Paintsville Marina when their boat collided with another vessel, throwing the Robinsons into the lake.  Mrs. Robinson was retrieved from the water, but Mr. Robinson was struck on the head by his unoccupied boat as it circled the area and disappeared below the surface.

 
A 911 call was placed to Paintsville-Johnson County 911 at 2:11 pm, and the Johnson County Rescue Squad was on the lake minutes later to begin the search.  They were soon joined by crews from the Floyd County Emergency and Rescue Squad, and a dive team from the Millard-East Shelbiana Fire Department was called as well.  A crew from Pike County Emergency Management was also on the lake.
 
At around 5:30 pm, Mr. Robinson's body was recovered by rescue personnel.  He was transported by boat back to the marina.

An update on HFTT 2010:

After talking with Dave and Dennis we have decided to move this years tournament to Lake Cumberland State Park Campground.  The federal gov't contract update work at Kendall Campground, scheduled to start in July, is to uncertain to leave the Tourney there.
 
HQ will be site 70 in loop 61-86 RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE NOW (the state has a twelve month window for reservations) at reserveamerica.com ,  Dennis talked with a rep from there a young lady named Amanda and she says we should be able to reserve (waiting for her to confirm) the shelter for our evening get togethers on Tue-Wed-Thur Oct 5-6-7.
 
so you can get on the website and get campsite now., in that loop. please respond to my e-mail so i can mark you off my list. i will send letters to those who do not respond, and will cut down on snail mail costs. if you talk to a brother that does not have an e-mail let him know and me too. i have called several people and left messages please let me know if you  got them too.  spread the word.
